The quietness and a very clean bathrooms
Great state campground. Please note that as a state campground it offers no electric, water, or sewage hookups. That said it is a beautiful, quiet campground with mostly ample, well wooded sites. There is a beautiful creek that runs through the heart of the campground with a neat bridge connecting the two halves. Fishing and swimming are decent but I would bring a tube to float down the creek in. Not much to offer in terms of attractions in town but natural attractions abound. Just watch out for bears.
Great campsite right on the Sacandaga river. Best sites are island sites, which allow for most privacy. Even when there were lots of families present the campground was quiet. Bathrooms and showers were pretty clean. Better than other places ive been. The staff was great amd very polite. Will definitely be going back. There was aslo a great deal to do and see fairly close.
